They need every upgrade to be like christmas but of being lied to about a releas
Currently, the only thing I am worried about is that the absence of communication. Phantasy Star Online 2, if it's current state has very little material, by way of example, Hunters only have two 13* Swords to pick from and Summoners have one (1) takt available. Technically, this is not an"problem" because Phantasy Star Online 2 only released, but there's no data circulating, no road map, no details about bug fixes or new material, which will definitely turn some Phantasy Star Online 2 gamers off.
Now, these amounts aren't super accurate, because we must take into account the launching hype and we ought to expect a large part of the Phantasy Star Online 2 participant base to fall out after attempting it, like any other MMO, but I'm still keeping an eye on it, cause I am worried.Phantasy Star Online 2 has the potential to be prosperous, but bad choices and a lack of communication are damaging Phantasy Star Online 2.
Honestly I feel like the content has to be a slow trickle as publishing it all at once would basically turn a lot of Phantasy Star Online 2 to fluff. It would be the same issue we have now except rather than having no additional content to check at we have a ton of content that is irrelevant. Skipping all of that development and transformation would make me feel a bit cheated. I am eager for content but I also dont need Phantasy Star Online 2 to feel like a sprint.
Information would be good. A roadmap would surely make a huge difference as right now it's hard to actually plan on what to do considering we dont know whether it will be a slow trickle of content or a massive leap. However I also presume that covid needed to have some effect on their inner roadmap. If they are translating content then its gotta be a challenge to work that around lockdown and societal distancing.I completely agree that content should be delivered gradually over time, never would think otherwise. However, what we have right now is very barebones and the shortage of information on what is coming or what they are planning makes it less than perfect.
It is weird that we have not heard anything. I really do think the radio silence is not a good strategy. They need every upgrade to be like christmas but of being lied to about a release, after years. Transparency would be appreciated. I would do fine with them saying they're coping with unexpected complications or something. Nonetheless, it isn't gont push me away from Phantasy Star Online 2 if they dont.I'm not speaking for me, these are only my concerns for Phantasy Star Online 2's success. All things that would be nice, but it won't turn me away even if they don't. I am too invested as a franchise for it into PSO.
