Former five-star cornerback Kendall Sheffield hasnt been with the Crimson Tide for the past couple of days and his status is uncertain, according to Alabama coach Nick Saban.Saban told reporters on Tuesday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, that Sheffield was in the mix to be the defenses third cornerback this season, behind projected starters Marlon Humphrey and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
